My girlfriend found a piece of book cover art that she really liked, so I decided to build something specifically for displaying it.
I designed and made this wooden stand as a personal project, working around the size and shape of the artwork so the stand would complement it rather than overpower it.
Sometimes the best projects start with something simple: “I like that.” Then I get to figure out how to make something for it.
