I made these pendants as a gift for my friend RJ McCarty, an incredibly talented musician whose music has become a beacon of happiness in my life.
Whether his music comes on while I'm driving, playing around the house, or taking a walk, it has a way of making the moment better. I also love going to his shows, spending time with friends, and simply enjoying the beautiful music he creates.
I wanted to make something for RJ that he could use and share, so I created these wooden pendants featuring his logo in different sizes and paired them with a variety of cords.
These weren't commissioned and they weren't made to sell. They were simply a gift for a talented musician and a good friend whose music has given me a lot of happiness.
One of the things I enjoy most about having the ability to make things is being able to occasionally turn that appreciation into something tangible and give a little bit back.
